May 5, 2004 -- The web site www.1stPlatoonBravo.com features message boards, photo galleries, Oregon News summaries plus Cyber Savings Coupons designed to help Oregon Army National Guard families save money while on active duty in Iraq. Many local Oregon business owners are contributing "Cyber Coupons" to help show support and help the families save money.

Companies that wish to provide specific offers or service discounts can do so by visiting the web site and submitting a Cyber Coupon. A number of local savings and discounts have already been pledged from local business.

1st. Platoon Bravo left for Iraq in February 2004 from training at Ft. Polk, Louisana. Today, the unit is now based at Camp Taji an old Army Airfield located approximately 27 kilometers Northwest of downtown Baghdad.

The purpose of the web site is to provide information for familes and friends of the Oregon Army National Guard soldiers currently deployed in Iraq.
